Honey can be used in many ways as a food and as a home remedy for one or two ailments. He is also said to be a real virus killer. Not only does it taste good, it can also relieve coughs and sore throats, among other things. Honey is a real all-rounder. Convince yourself.

Honey mustard sauce



Especially in summer, crispy fresh salads are indispensable and they deserve a dressing that is at least as delicious. Everything you need for the dressing



1 tbsp honey

1 EL Senf

1 tbsp white wine vinegar

3 tbsp olive oil

Salt & pepper to taste



Mix everything together well, pour over the salad and enjoy.


Our insider tip: Add a few more roasted pine nuts and phy salis for a particularly tasty change!











Honigmilch



As simple as it is delicious. Helps with a scratchy throat, as a sleep aid for young and old or simply as a delicious drink.



1 glass of milk

1-2 teaspoons honey (depending on taste)



Mix the honey in warm or cold milk - done!

Honey chocolate cookies

Whether for a house party, family coffee or just for fun - always worth a sin.



200 g of liquid honey

125 g butter or margarine

150 grams of sugar

1 pinch of salt

50 g Blockschokolade

4 tablespoons of milk

350 g flour

2 teaspoons of baking soda

2 EL Kakao

1 teaspoon cinnamon



Mix the butter, sugar and salt until frothy. Add honey. Melt the chocolate and add it with the milk. Sieve the remaining ingredients and fold into the mixture. Cover the dough in the refrigerator for approx. Let cool for 1/2 hour. Shape balls and place them on a baking sheet with a little space and bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.



As a variation, you can also add almonds or chocolate chips to the dough before baking.









Ginger lemon tea

Whether at the Asians around the corner, in the city cafe or in your own home, ginger-lemon tea is always a pleasure.

As most people know, it can help with colds and nausea. It also stimulates the metabolism.



2-3 cm of ginger

2 untreated lemons

1 liter of water

3-4 tbsp honey



Cut the ginger into slices, squeeze 1 lemon, cut the other lemon into slices. Put the ginger and lemon juice in a container and pour boiling water over it. Sweeten with honey and garnish with the lemon wedges.
